Creamy Cornbread - cooking recipe

1 c. self-rising cornmeal
3 eggs
1/2 c. oil
8 oz. sour cream
1 can creamed corn (16 oz.)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0 and mix all ingredients together.
Pour enough oil into a 9-inch iron skillet so that the bottom of the skillet is covered.
Place the oiled skillet in the oven until it is hot enough to sizzle (test by sprinkling a small amount of cornmeal in skillet).
Pour batter into heated skillet and bake for 15 to 25 minutes, depending on the oven.
Test center of cornbread with a toothpick to see if it is done.
