Cheese And Pepper Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 to 3/4 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs or 4 egg whites
1/3 c. melted butter
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease bottom only of a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Combine dry ingredients and cheese in a medium bowl. In a small bowl, blend well the buttermilk, eggs and melted butter. Add to dry ingredients, stirring only until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour into pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown or toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pan 15 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely.
Wrap in foil or plastic wrap and store in refrigerator. May be heated in microwave.
