Rich Brownie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. margarine or butter, melted
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts, chopped (if desired)
Sweetened Whipped Cream (recipe follows)
chocolate, shaved (if desired)

Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour round pan, 8 x 1 1/2-inches.
Mix all ingredients, except whipped cream and chocolate; spread in pan.
Bake about 35 minutes or until top appears dry.
Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.
Cool cake completely.
Top with whipped cream and chocolate.
Refrigerate any remaining cake.
