Ingredients

3 large yams or 2 (No. 2) can yams
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. brown sugar
Preparation

Peel and cook fresh yams and divide into quarters.
Drain water and place in 2-quart casserole.
Melt butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar and pour over potatoes.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
