Dottie Thirkel'S Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Beat like crazy.
    It'll be gooey.
    Drop in spoonfuls on top of completely cooked boiled chicken in 8-quart pan.
    Broth should barely cover the chicken.
    Gently boil 5 minutes.
    Put lid on pan. Steam 5 minutes more.
    Serve.
    May top with gravy made from chicken broth.
