Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices buttered bread
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cut bread into half-inch wide strips.
    Arrange in layers in buttered baking dish.
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Add sugar, salt, vanilla and milk.
    Mix well and pour over bread.
    Bake in slow oven at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
