Quick Cherry Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
powdered sugar to dust top
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar.
Add eggs.
Beat until fluffy.
Add almond extract.
Stir in flour and baking powder. Mix until smooth.
Butter 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
Turn mixture into pan.
Spoon pie filling into cake in spots evenly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
Cool.
Place bottom side up on serving plate.
Dust with powdered sugar.
