Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. fruit cocktail
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients. Add to shortening mix.
    Add fruit cocktail.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
    Makes a 2 layer cake.
