Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 small onion, cut fine
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
pinch of pepper
1 can beef broth
Preparation

Soak bread crumbs in milk; add other ingredients except beef broth.
Mix. Brown in hot fat.
Add beef broth and 1/2 cup of water; pour over meatballs and simmer 1 hour.
