El Paso Burgers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

hamburger patties
1 can green chili (Anaheim) peppers
sliced Monterey Jack or Swiss cheese
onion slices, sauteed
Preparation

Grill (or fry) hamburgers to desired doneness, flattening out a little while cooking.
Drain chilies.
Place 1 or 2 chilies on burger.
Also place a few onions and top with a slice of cheese. Lower grill, cover and grill until cheese melts, or put a lid on the skillet.
Transfer to buns.
Good with mayonnaise or brown mustard.
