Spiced Tea - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
juice of 8 lemons
1 Tbsp. orange rind
water to make 4 qt.
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves or 6 to 8 whole cloves
10 tsp. tea
Preparation

Make a syrup of sugar and water.
Add lemon juice, rind and bag of spice after cooling syrup slightly.
Make a tea infusion (1 teaspoon tea to 1 cup freshly boiled water).
Strain and combine. Add water to make 4 quarts.
