Texas Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 beaten eggs
    1 Tbsp. lemon extract
    4 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. white raisins
    4 c. whole pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and lemon extract and blend. Sift dry ingredients together and combine with raisins and pecans.
    Add to creamed mixture and blend.
    Pour in well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake 2 hours at 275\u00b0.
