New Orleans Chicken Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. butter
2 c. canned whole tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
black pepper to taste
1/2 c. dry instant milk
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. water
2 c. chopped, cooked chicken
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Cook the first 4 ingredients until tender.
Add the next 4 ingredients.
Mix milk and flour.
Add water to milk and flour. Add milk mixture to tomato; stir constantly until thick.
Cook 2 minutes.
Add chicken and cook until hot; stir in cheese.
Serve over rice.
