Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. water
1 c. boiling water or soup stock
1 c. fine dry bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. drippings or fat
2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Combine meat, crumbs, egg, milk, onion and seasonings.
Form into balls, 1 1/2-inches in diameter, using as little pressure as possible.
Brown well in drippings.
Place meatballs in heavy skillet.
Add water.
Cover and simmer about 30 minutes on low heat.
