St. James Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. soured or buttermilk
    1 c. seedless raisins
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    3/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar and spices together.
    Cut in butter until mixture resembles cornmeal.
    Reserve 1/2 cup of dry mixture. Combine milk and soda.
    Add to remaining crumb mixture.
    Stir in raisins and nuts.
    Spread batter in greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture evenly over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
