Green Pepper Relish (Jelly) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chopped green peppers
    1/4 c. chopped red peppers (hot)
    3 c. vinegar
    5 lb. sugar
    2 bottles Certo
    green food coloring
Preparation
    In a blender or food processor, chop one cup green peppers, a little red pepper and 1 cup vinegar.
    Repeat this until the first three ingredients are blended well.
    Add this mixture to the sugar and bring it to a fast boil.
    (Watch closely because it boils over quickly.)
    Boil for 3 minutes.
    Add Certo and enough green food coloring to make a dark green (about the color of green pepper). Boil 1 minute more and seal in sterilized jars.
    Serve over cream cheese, spread on Wheat Thins or favorite crackers.
    Makes 12 1/2 pints (I got 7 pints).
