Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 sm. can crushed pineapple, well drained
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 sm. container Cool Whip, thawed
    1 or 2 cups sliced bananas
    1 c. small marshmallows
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix pie filling, drained pineapple and sugar and put in refrigerator overnight or 1 hour in freezer.
    Add rest of ingredients and stir gently.
    Chill.
