Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. molasses
    1 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients except soda, cut in fat until mixture comes to fine crumb consistency.
    Save one-half cup of this for topping.
    Beat egg well; add molasses, sour milk and soda and mix thoroughly with first dry mixture.
    Place in a greased pan.
    Bake 35 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
