Filling For Fried Peach Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. clean, drained peach peelings
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine
    ingredients
    and
    mix well.
    Cover loosely and let set several hours or overnight.
    Cook over low heat until peelings are tender and
    liquid
    is
    cooked
    away.
    While hot, mash with a potato masher.
    Let cool.
    This freezes real well. Makes delicious fried pies.
