Banana Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine or shortening
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sour cream or 1/4 c. milk with 1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Cream together sugar, shortening and eggs.
Sift together dry ingredients and add slowly to sugar mixture.
Then add mashed bananas, vanilla and sour cream.
Mix well and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour in angel food cake pan or loaf pans.
Can be iced with ready-made frostings or serve as a bread.
