Halushki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion
    bacon, sliced very small
    cabbage, shredded, or home canned kraut
    noodles (type of choice)
Preparation
    Fry bacon and onion together until onion is transparent.
    Place shredded cabbage in skillet with onion and bacon.
    Cook noodles in separate pan.
    Season to taste with pepper or seasoning of your choice.
    Mix all together.
    You can put some sour cream or cottage cheese on top at time of serving (mix in or whatever you want). Gives a better taste.
    Can be made with sausage or no meat at all for those of you who are meatless Friday folks during Lent.
