Sweet And Sour Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pineapple chunks
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving 6 tablespoons syrup.
    Mix cornstarch and brown sugar in small saucepan.
    Stir in vinegar, soy sauce and reserved pineapple syrup.
    Add pineapple.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for about 2 minutes.
    Serve over beef, pork or chicken.
    Yield: 4 servings.
