Tea Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl; add vanilla; beat until fluffy.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Sift flour, soda and salt.
    Add to mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Drop by teaspoon on greased baking sheet.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown on edge.
