Beets In Orange Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can sliced or diced beets
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. orange marmalade
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Drain beets, reserving 1/3 cup liquid.
    In medium saucepan, gradually stir reserved beet liquid into cornstarch to make a smooth mixture. Add orange marmalade, vinegar and salt. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Add butter and stir until melted.
    Add beets and stir gently over low heat until evenly glazed and heated through. Makes 3 to 4 servings.
