Mabel'S Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vinegar
    5 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Mix flour and salt.
    Cut in shortening.
    Beat egg.
    Add vinegar and cold water. Stir mixture into the dry ingredients. Divide dough into fourths.
    Roll out one piece at a time.
    Makes 4 single crusts or 2 double crusts.
