Garden Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) can garden peas (preferably LeSueur brand)
    1/2 (4 oz.) can water chestnuts
    1 small onion, grated
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
    1/2 to 3/4 stick butter
    Ritz crackers (nearly 1 roll)
Preparation
    Mix together the garden peas, water chestnuts, onion and cream of mushroom soup. Put in buttered 8-inch baking dish.
    Spread grated cheese on top of mixture.
