Kate Hepburn'S Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Grease an 8 x 8-inch pan.
Melt together 2 squares of chocolate with butter in a saucepan; remove from heat.
Add 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, stirring until blended.
Add flour, salt and nuts.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
