Brownies A 'La Cooper - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. vegetable oil or melted margarine
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Preparation

Blend oil, sugar and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.
Add eggs; beat well with spoon.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Gradually add to egg mixture until well blended.
Stir in nuts.
Spread in greased 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan. (Don't overbake.)
Cool in pan.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost with chocolate butter frosting.
