Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
2 c. heavy cream
3 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Place 1/2 cup sugar in a heavy skillet over medium heat.
With wooden spoon, keep sugar moving constantly in skillet until sugar is completely melted and of a rich medium brown color.
Pour into a baking dish and quickly tilt sides of dish until bottom is evenly coated.
Set aside.
Scald cream.
