Pineapple Cream Cheese Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 (9 oz.) crushed pineapple (not drained)
1/2 lb. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell (deep)
1/4 c. chopped pecans
pinch of salt
Preparation

Blend 1/3 cup sugar with cornstarch.
Add pineapple.
Cook, stirring constantly, until it is thick and clear.
Cool.
Blend cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar and salt.
Add eggs gradually. Blend in milk and vanilla.
Spread cooled pineapple mixture over bottom of shell (uncooked).
Pour in cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with pecans.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes, then reduce to 325\u00b0.
Cook for 50 more minutes.
Cool.
