Chocolate Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frozen prepared pie crust
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs, separated
    pinch of salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Let frozen pie crust thaw slightly.
    Prick all over with fork and bake according to package directions.
    In a double boiler, stir together butter, cornstarch, cocoa, sugar and half the milk.
    Heat mixture and slowly stir in the rest of the milk until well blended. Bring to a boil stirring often and boil for 1 minute.
    Beat egg yolks lightly in a small bowl.
    Stir some of the hot mixture into the yolks and add the yolks to the double boiler.
    It's important to add some of the hot mixture into yolks before hand, so they won't curdle.
