Cajun Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    boneless chicken tenders
    1 1/2 lb. sausage
    1 lb. shrimp
    2 large onions, chopped
    2 c. celery, chopped
    2 large green peppers, chopped
    1 c. green onions, chopped
    1/4 c. flour
    1 stick butter
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 1/2 qt. water
    1 large can tomato paste
    1 large can tomatoes
    2 pkg. frozen okra, cooked according to box directions
    garlic salt to taste
    1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    Creole seasoning to taste
Preparation
    Brown chicken and sausage in oil.
    Drain and set aside.
    Over medium heat, stir flour and butter until well mixed.
    Add all vegetables except okra and cook until tender.
    Add water, tomatoes, tomato paste, spices, chicken and sausage.
    Simmer over low heat for approximately 2 hours, adding more water, if necessary.
    Add shrimp and okra and cook through.
    Serve over rice.
