Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 medium onions
1 (5 lb.) cabbage
10 green tomatoes
12 green peppers
6 sweet red peppers
1/2 c. salt
6 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. celery seed
2 Tbsp. mustard seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
4 c. vinegar
2 c. water
1 small onion
2 hard-cooked eggs
2 c. canned kidney beans, drained
3 stalks celery
1 heaping Tbsp. mayonnaise
2 tsp. mustard relish or capers
1 tsp. curry powder
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
-
Chop onion, celery and eggs together.
Add rest of ingredients.
Refrigerate 1/2 hour.
Can be made ahead.
Can not be frozen.
