Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. water
2 c. mango puree (from about 2 large ripe mangoes, 2 1/2 lb. in all)
2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
Preparation

Place sugar and water in medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir to dissolve sugar.
Pour into bowl; cool.
Add mango puree and lime juice.
Mix.
Chill until very cold.
Freeze in ice cream freezer as manufacturer directs.
