Apple Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 apples, peeled and sliced or 1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can sliced apples
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    4 to 6 slices stale bread
    1 stick melted margarine
Preparation
    Put apples in a greased 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
    Mix sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Sprinkle 3/4 cup of sugar mixture over apples. Remove crust from bread and cut into cubes.
