Oatmeal Butterscotch Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. butter or margarine (room temperature)
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. uncooked regular or old-fashioned rolled oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch flavored chips
1 c. (6 oz.) milk chocolate chips
Preparation

Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars until smooth.
Beat in the eggs until mixture is light.
Add the vanilla extract, rolled oats and butterscotch chips. Turn into a lightly greased 15 1/4 x 10 1/2-inch baking pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until center of the bars feel firm.
Remove from oven.
Sprinkle with milk chocolate chips.
Let stand 2 to 3 minutes until chips melt. Spread melted chips over the bars. Cut into 2-inch squares.
Serve warm or cool.
Yields 35 (2-inch) bars.
