Mother'S Hot Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. shredded cabbage
6 slices bacon, cooked crisp
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. sugar or sweetener
1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation

Put cabbage and onion in a large bowl.
Fry bacon.
Remove bacon to plate.
Use grease from bacon to mix with water, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Pour over cabbage and onion.
Mix and add crumbled bacon.
Serve hot.
