Pear Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    1 medium can pears, drained and mashed
    1 (6 to 8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese (room temperature)
    2 c. Cool Whip
    1/2 to 1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix jello according to directions.
    Refrigerate to thicken slightly.
    Whip with electric beater or blender.
    Whip in jello, cheese, pears and Cool Whip in that order.
    Add nuts on top. Chill.
