Quickie Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar
    2 whole eggs
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Stir all ingredients together; spread into a shallow 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    Cut when cool.
    Glaze with powdered sugar, if desired.
