Broccoli-Ham Hot Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen cut broccoli
    2 c. cooked rice
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 c. fresh bread crumbs (2 1/2 slices)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 c. milk
    1 1/2 lb. fully baked ham, cubed
    Cheddar or Swiss cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Cook broccoli according to package directions.
    Drain.
    Spoon rice into 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Place broccoli on rice.
    Melt butter or margarine, sprinkle 2 tablespoon over bread crumbs and set aside.
    Saute onion in remaining butter or margarine.
    Add flour, salt and pepper; stirring constantly; stir in milk.
    Cook until thickened.
    Cook and stir 1 minute longer.
    Add ham and heat through.
    Pour over rice and broccoli in casserole.
    Sprinkle crumbs on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until heated through.
    Sprinkle on cheese and let stand for 5 minutes.
    Makes 8 servings.
