Poppy Seed Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks, beaten
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream
1 box poppy seed
1 tsp. vanilla
4 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients and set aside.
Cream butter and sugar; add beaten egg yolks.
Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream, vanilla and poppy seed.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in ungreased angel cake pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Do not frost.
