Chili Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or turkey
    3 cans tomatoes or tomato sauce
    2 cans kidney beans
    1 pkg. chili mix (I use McCormick's)
    1 tsp. and 1 Tbsp. chili powder (optional, for spicier chili)
Preparation
    Brown meat until crumbly.
    Drain off most of fat.
    Pour into a large pot or crock-pot and add rest of ingredients.
    Bring to a boil; then lower heat and simmer for approximately 2 hours or until of desired consistency.
    The tomato sauce will make a thicker chili than the tomatoes.
