Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. vinegar (add water to make 1/2 c.)
    1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut
    3/4 c. diced celery
    3/4 c. diced green pepper
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimento
Preparation
    Heat sugar and vinegar until sugar is dissolved.
    Cool. Combine drained kraut, celery, green pepper, onion and drained chopped pimento.
    Mix with vinegar mixture.
    Chill.
