Baked Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large baking potatoes
2/3 c. margarine
2/3 c. plain flour
6 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 green onions, chopped
12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
Preparation

Bake potatoes at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool slightly, cut potatoes in half and scoop out pulp.
Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat.
Add flour stirring constantly until smooth.
Cook 1 minute.
Gradually add 6 cups of milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thickened and bubbly.
Add potato pulp and other ingredients except sour cream.
Cook until thoroughly heated.
Stir in sour cream.
Serve hot.
