Ingredients

1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. nuts
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. dates
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
3 c. boiling water
3 c. white sugar
Preparation

Chop nuts and dates fine, then mix and pour above ingredients in bottom of a large baking dish.
Mix brown sugar, butter, boiling water and white sugar and pour over batter.
Bake in slow oven for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Serve with whipped cream.
