"Excellent" Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. melted margarine
    pecans (optional)
    coconut (optional)
    1 (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt caramels and evaporated milk together slowly and set aside.
    Combine German chocolate cake mix and melted margarine. Put 1/2 cake mixture in a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 to 7 minutes.
