Mom'S Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. fresh cut apples
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. oil
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Cut apples (peeled).
Pour sugar over apples and refrigerate 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix oil, eggs and vanilla.
Add flour, soda and salt and mix well.
Add all of this to apples and mix well.
Add nuts now.
Grease and flour pans.
Bake in sheet pan for 1 hour or bake in large tube pan 60 to 70 minutes.
