Easy Taco Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion
    1 c. water
    1 (1 1/4 oz.) envelope taco seasoning mix
    1 pkg. tortilla chips
    1/2 head lettuce, shredded
    1 (2 1/4 oz.) can sliced ripe olives, drained
    1 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar or Monterey)
Preparation
    Cook and stir ground beef and onion in 10-inch skillet until lightly browned; drain.
    Stir in water and seasoning mix.
    Heat to boil.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes.
    Layer tortilla chips in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Spoon beef mixture over chips.
    Top with remaining ingredients. Makes 6 servings; 635 calories per serving.
