Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oats
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. Wesson oil
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over quick oats.
    Let stand while mixing remaining ingredients.
    Add oatmeal to mixture and blend well. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    As soon as cake gets done, add topping and put back in oven on broil until brown.
