Cherry Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks oleo, softened
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Beat together the oleo, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Add flour and baking powder and mix well.
Spread 2/3 of batter in a greased sheet cake pan.
Cover this with cherry pie filling.
Dot remaining dough over the pie filling.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool.
Drizzle with a powdered sugar glaze.
Other fruit pie fillings can be used.
